The Leominster-based Trustees of Reservations, the nation's oldest land trust, has hired Lisa Caissie as volunteer services manager.
Caissie will oversee recruitment, engagement and management of the thousands of volunteers who help to care for 105 reservations each year.
Her goal is to increase the number of volunteers for trail stewardship, office assistance and the delivery of educational programs.
Caissie has more than 12 years' experience in volunteer program management.
Prior to joining The Trustees, Caissie was manager of volunteer services at the Women's Lunch Place in Boston. Before that she oversaw large volunteer programs for the Red Cross and the YWCA in Washington State.
She received her bachelor's in psychology from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
She is a native of Oxford and lives in Worcester.
