Top Management Changes At TJX

The TJX Companies of Framingham today announced a series of changes to its senior management team, naming two long-time employees to senior executive vice president roles.
Michael MacMillan, a native of the United Kingdom, was named to lead TJX Europe while Richard Sherr will replace MacMillan as head of The Marmaxx Group. Marmaxx is the largest division of TJX, comprised of the T.J. Maxx and Marshalls clothing store chains.
Carol Meyrowitz, CEO at TJX, said the Europe division holds "tremendous growth potential for the company."
MacMillan joined TJX in 1985 while Sherr has been with the retail chain since 1992.
