A new single-family home community being developed in Hopkinton sold for $11.9 million to Toll Brothers, a Pennsylvania-based luxury real estate developer, according to the Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds.
The property is located at the ends of Whalen Road and Chamberlain Street, both of which were extended to create the community. It is situated behind Hopkinton’s public schools.
With 29 lots, the single-family dwellings average 1.8 acres, according to Toll Brothers’ website. The houses are starting at $1.6 million each.
Toll Brothers lists the community, which it has dubbed Edgewood at Hopkinton, as coming soon.
The sale to Toll Brothers closed Jan. 28 after the town voted to release the lots. The seller was REC Hopkinton, which is registered to Hopkinton developer Paul Mastroianni.
