Westborough staffing and personnel company The Suburban Group has hired an AstraZeneca veteran as a senior scientific recruiter.
Sigmund “Ziggy” M. Waraszkiewicz will develop recruitment activities in biotech, pharmaceutical and scientific areas.
Previously, Waraszkiewicz spent 33 years at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, most recently as the director of quality assurance in laboratory sciences.
He has a B.S. and M.S. in pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, an M.S. in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Clark University.
