The Framingham-based office supply company has launched three Massachusetts coworking spaces in a new collaboration with Workbar.
The locations are set to open in Danvers, Norwood and Brighton. Each of the 2,500 to 3,500 square-foot facilities will offer a mix of high-end workspaces, conference rooms, private phone rooms, fast and secure Wi-Fi, printers, and bottomless coffee and tea.
“Workbar locations will provide a sense of community and the opportunity to network and collaborate with other motivated professionals,” said Peter Scala, Staples’ executive vice president merchandising said in a statement.
The locations are part of a “hub-and-spoke” approach to building out workspaces into the greater Massachusetts community, according to a statement from Boston-based Workbar’s CEO and co-founder Bill Jacobson.
The Workbar locations within Staples will be operated by Workbar and will offer coworking memberships, pre-scheduled meeting space, use of Workbar’s downtown locations, and access to its in-person and online community. The Staples locations are a strong fit for the company, with access to technology and office supplies on site, according to Jacobson.
