Employees of Saint-Gobain Abrasives in Worcester and Northborough will spend Thursday in meetings, health screenings and safety demonstrations as part of the industrial giant’s third International Environment, Health & Safety Day.
The meetings are designed to renew company environmental, health and safety initiatives. An all-day open house will give employees the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked, and take part in CPR demonstrations and other activities.
All 207,000 employees of the international construction materials and glass container manufacturing giant will take part in the initiative. The company operates in 54 countries and is based in Paris, France.
