Redemption Rock Brewing, a craft beer brewery located on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, will be the official provider of a new house beer for The Fix Burger Bar, a chain of three restaurants run by Niche Hospitality Group with locations in Worcester, Marlborough, and Leominster.
The beer, a pilsner with an 4.4% ABV called Grass Fed, will exclusively be available at Fix locations, according to an Instagram post made on Saturday by The Fix.
“Redemption Rock is a Certified Benefit Corporation, or B Corp, which means that giving back to the community is more than just something they’re passionate about — it’s an essential part of their company and we’re proud to be partnering with them on this collaboration,” the post reads.
The beer will be available at Fix locations starting Monday, with an exact tapping date to be announced later. The restaurant is planning a beer dinner to celebrate the collaboration on Feb. 7, featuring a special menu of dishes paired with Redemption Rock beers.
Redemption Rock first opened in Jan. 2019, while Worcester’s Niche Hospitality Group opened its first Fix location in Worcester in 2016.
Niche opened additional Fix locations in Marlborough and Leominster in 2020.
This collaboration comes as Redemption Rock and other small businesses in Worcester have expressed hopes more cooperation between local businesses could help fight off the mounting pressures of high costs and lower consumer spending.
