Polar Beverages has unveiled its latest seasonal seltzers for the winter, following up on summer flavors and the Worcester company's Impossibly Good line of drinks.
Drinks available for the upcoming season starting today are: Ginger Lime Mule, Blackberry Clementine, Hibiscus Cloudberry, Vanilla Zen and Cranberry Cider.
If those names and flavors seem like a big departure from Polar's old days of lemon, lime, mandarin and vanilla, they certainly are.

Polar has branched out in recent years starting with its first seasonal flavors in 2011. This summer, the seasonal flavors were Blueberry Tangerine, Raspberry Rose, Mango Cherry Bliss, Pineapple Lemon Twist and Cucumber Melon.
In 2015, Polar started its Impossibly Good line of drinks in smaller, 8-ounce cans with names like Unicorn Kisses, Dragon Whispers, Mermaid Songs and Yeti Mischief. In August, Polar decided to make what were once limited-time-only flavors and produce them permanently. Last year, Polar launched Seltzer’ade, which combines lemonade with a range of fruit flavors with no sugar or sweeteners, a line that's aimed at Millennials.
