- Southborough-based Statewide Towing Association raised $8,670 for Baystate Children's Hospital in Springfield at its annual golf outing.
- Westborough-based BJ's Wholesale Club donated $389,200 to 55 nonprofits in the 15 states where clubs are located. The funds will go toward hunger prevention, self-sufficiency, health care and education organizations.
- United Way of North Central Massachusetts recognized Workers’ Credit Union, Sterilite Corp., Bemis Associates and Tyco SimplexGrinnell for surpassing the $1 million mark in total contributions over the past 32 years.
