Worcester-based People’s United Bank awarded $30,000 in grants to nonprofits, including some in the Worcester area. Recipients included Habitat for Humanity MetroWest-Greater Worcester Inc; YMCA of Worcester; and Worcester State Foundation Inc.
E.B. Carlson Marketing Inc. of West Boylston donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Massachusetts.
Framingham-based SimplexGrinnell raised more than $60,000 through a three-week workplace campaign for the United Way Youth Venture program.
