Personal Income Up In December
U.S. personal income rose 0.4 percent in December from November, but after inflation the increase was just 0.1 percent, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Total personal income rose by $54.5 billion, and disposable personal income increased $47.3 billion.
December marked the third month in a row that personal income and disposable income both rose.
