Perini Scores $248M In Florida, Virginia Contracts

Framingham's Perini Corp. has been awarded more than $248 million in new construction contracts.

The projects include the two-phase, $61 million replacement of a Florida high school by Perini subsidiary James A. Cummings Inc.

The company was also awarded a $52 million high school construction project in Osceola County, Florida, a $37 million casino construction project in Miami and a $55 million stadium project at Florida Atlantic University.

Cherry Hill Construction Inc., another of Perini's subsidiaries, was awarded a $73 million contract for the final segment of the Fairfax County Parkway south of Springfield, Va. The project includes the construction of highway bridges and an interchange ramp at Interstate 95 and adjacent intersections.

All of the projects are scheduled to begin next year.
