Power Utility Products Co. a master distributor headquartered in North Carolina, has acquired NAPAC, Inc., a master distributor to the waterworks and fire suppression industries, based on Southbridge Street in Worcester.
NAPAC will retain its brand name, its general manager, Brian Wilbur, and its current staff, according to a Friday press release from PUPCO partner, WJ Partners of South Carolina.
The sale follows PUPCO’s March acquisition of Albuquerque distributor of telecom components MIROC.
"This new partnership, on top of the integration of MIROC into our operations, furthers our efforts to expand our product offering and diversify our end markets. We have several common clients across PUPCO, MIROC and now NAPAC, and our diversified yet synergistic lineup of products will offer tremendous cross-selling opportunities,” PUPCO CEO Cameron Todd said in the press release.
NAPAC was founded in 1995 and is a distributor of ductile iron flange fittings, flanges and valves to the waterworks, wastewater, industrial, and fire protection industries.
