New Leader A Familiar Face At Fruitlands

The Fruitlands Museum in Harvard has promoted CFO Tim Firment to the CEO chair.

Firment replaces Maud V. Ayson in the position, which was formerly called executive director. Ayson held the job for eight years before announcing her resignation to seek other opportunities.

Firment is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years in business and executive management, including at Pillsbury and PepsiCo. Before becoming the museum’s CFO in June 2008, he served as a trustee and board treasurer. He is a longtime Harvard resident and has served on the local conservation board.

Firment is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
