The Blackstone Valley and the Milford Area chambers of commerce have joined forces to offer a big business after hours event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wed., July 22 at Southwick's Zoo in Mendon.
Business people can network and meet others while taking a train ride through the park or riding the sky ride to see the park from overhead.
There will be food and drink, with a surprise or two waiting for those who attend, according to the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The chambers are billing the event as "Let's Get Wild at Southwick's Zoo," where visitors will be able to see tigers, lions, a leopard, monkeys and giraffes.
There are also birds, including macaws, cockatoos and flamingos and a park with Eurasian Fallow Deer. The train ride, which is aboard a rubber tire train, takes excursions through a wildlife habitat that includes elk, red-tailed hawks and river otters.
The cost is $10 for members and $20 for non-members for those who register. It is $20 for members and $25 for non-members at the door.
