MAGGIE CURRAN-EARLY and JOHANNA LOLAX were hired and EMILY ROSS BARNETT promoted at Pernet Family Health Service Inc. of Worcester. Curran-Early will serve as director of early intervention. Her previous positions have included roles at Community Health Link and St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Barnett is director of family and community development. She was previously a Pernet youth coordinator, and an intern before that. Lolax is director of community affairs and development. She previously worked for Easter Seals Massachusetts and Fallon Clinic, now the Reliant Foundation.

VICKY FONTAINE was hired as director of account management for Elevation Exhibits & Events in Shrewsbury.

JACK CUTONE was named to the executive committee of Quinsigamond Community College's board of directors in Worcester. He will serve as co-chair of the foundation's new business development committee. Cutone is managing partner of 1031 Exchange, United Asset Trading Co. He has been an adjunct economics Instructor at Quinsigamond since 2004.

KATHERINE GARRAHAN and JOSHUA LEE SMITH were elevated to partner at Worcester law firm, Bowditch & Dewey. Garrahan holds a bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross, two master's degrees from Columbia University and a juris doctorate from Northeastern University. Smith holds a bachelor's degree from Babson College and a juris doctorate from Syracuse University.

Also, TIMOTHY P. VAN DYCK and ROBERT G. YOUNG were hired at Bowditch & Dewey. Van Dyck, hired as a partner, earned undergraduate and law degrees from Boston College. Young, who is of counsel, earned bachelor's and law degrees from Boston University. They will be core members of the firm's labor and employment and higher education practice group.

MICHAEL ROSS was hired as vice president of channel sales at Hudson-based Corero Network Security, a cyber-threat protection company. He was previously in executive leadership positions within sales and channel teams at Tibco Software. Before that, he was vice president of channel sales for Blue Coat Systems and area vice president of North America channel sales for RSA.

BETTY BRYSON and CARLY RAASCH were hired by Westborough-based Conover + Gould Strategic Communications. Bryson is senior project and design manager based in the company's Boston office. She's a former employee and consultant with National Grid and was also art director and president of Bryson Design of Boston. Raasch, communications associate, previously worked as an analyst for the State of California and has also worked as a research associate in health and media communications.

JEFFREY A. SCOTT was hired as vice president of information technology at Athol Savings Bank. He was previously technology officer at Fidelity Bank for 14 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in information management technology from Central New England College of Technology in Worcester and a bachelor's from Bryant University in business administration. He is a resident of Holden.

MARY LEACH was hired as a Realtor by RE/MAX Signature Properties of Northborough. The Northborough resident has been a Realtor since 2009.

JESSE WILBUR and KAITLYN FURCINITTI were hired by Green Leaf Construction of Leominster. Wilbur is a construction superintendent and safety trainer who previously worked with J. Calnan Associates and JM Coull Inc. Furcinitti, of Worcester, is office administrator. She worked in customer service and human resources at UMass Medical School and Morning Star Bookstore.

DONNA TIBBETTS and RACHEL A. WOODS were promoted at SpencerBANK. Tibbetts is assistant vice president of human resources and training; her previous role was training officer. She started as a part-time teller at the bank in 1994, then moved to full time, and was promoted several times. Woods, vice president of loan operations, was previously assistant vice president of loan operations. Woods started with the bank in 1999, was promoted to loan operations manager in 2007 and loan operations officer in 2009.

DOUG McCARTNEY, LEO TROTTIER and KIM HERRON were hired by New England Clean Energy in Hudson. McCartney, who is sales director, previously ran his own sales and marketing consulting firm, Licitus Group. Before that, the Sudbury resident served in several executive management roles, such as vice president and director of sales and marketing at Two Step Software, and as vice president of business development at Adaytum Software. Trottier will serve as a solar sales consultant. He had worked as a manager for commercial construction projects at Metal Panel Corp. in Manchester, N.H., and as a sales and production manager for residential energy conservation projects at Manchester Insulation and Improvement Co. in Manchester. Herron, the company's new marketing coordinator, had been marketing director at AMI Leasing in Worcester.

STUART NIXDORFF, PAUL BAKER and ERNESTO MARTINEZ-VILLALPANDO were hired by Kopin Corp. of Westborough, a developer of wearable technologies. Nixdorff was named senior vice president of sales and marketing. He began working on head-mounted wearables in 1997 and led the launch of the first CMOS-based digital cameras and cellphone cameras, among other innovations. Previously, he was senior vice president and general manager of AAC's smart accessory business. Baker is the new vice president of business development. He was previously executive vice president of business development and sales at ZINK Imaging, a mobile technology startup. Martinez-Villalpando was appointed special assistant to the CEO. He has worked at Harvard University's Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering in Boston and received his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

DANIEL J. RACICOT was named chief of staff at Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty's office. He previously worked for Healthcare Union 1199 SEIU. Prior to that, Racicot served in constituent-based roles for U.S. Rep. Michael Capuano and former U.S. Rep. John Olver. He's a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a resident of Worcester.

BLERTA PROFINI was hired as senior vice president in retail credit risk management by TD Bank in Worcester. She previously worked at Wells Fargo Bank in Chester, Pa., as a risk management manager. Profini, a Shrewsbury resident, is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas.

AMANDA CLARK was hired by Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton as garden center manager. She has managed several garden centers in the Minneapolis area and is a graduate of MN Riverland Technical College in Rochester, Minn.

JOHN E. LYDON was named operations manager of Kaloutas Painting of Natick and Peabody. He joins Kaloutas after nine years with Coca Cola, most recently as distribution manager at its Needham location. He previously worked as a portfolio accountant with State Street Corp. in Westwood. A Natick resident, he earned a bachelor's degree in management from UMass Dartmouth.

BENJAMIN LEVESQUE was hired as a senior project manager by engineering firm Tighe & Bond to work in its Worcester office. He's a civil and environmental engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. Levesque earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire, and his master's in environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

ALEXANDRA BAVOSI was named executive director at Worcester Executives Association, a Worcester-based business networking group.
