More Than 20% Say They Plan To Shop At Work

It can be a challenge for a company to keep employees productive during the holiday season, and a recent Accountemps survey found that about 20 percent of employees plan to do some of their shopping online while at work this year.
Those who do plan to shop online during work said they would do less of it than in past years.
Accountemps, a temporary employment firm focused on the accounting and financial industries, said 77 percent of workers surveyed do not plan on shopping online while at work.
Those who do said they would spend about 1.9 hours per week shopping from work. That's down from the 2.7 hours employees said they would spend shopping each week during the 2007 holiday season.
