MonsterTRAK, the student division of the Maynard-based Monster.com job search resource, released the top five entry-level job opportunities for the Class of 2006.
The numbers, based on how many entry-level job applications were posted on MonsterTRAK during the 2005/2006 academic year, show that the number one category for recent grads is business operations, HR and financial services. Following that are sales and marketing; office, administrative and customer support; architecture and engineering; and computer, information technology and mathematical.
According to Julie Goldthwait, vice president and general manager of MonsterTRAK, more entry level positions are being created in the management, business and financial services, and IT industries.Â
