Title: Vice President, Business Development
Company: The Suburban Group
Company location: Westborough
Residence: Grafton
Career highlights:
I am responsible for the business development and sales efforts for my company, The Suburban Group. I started with the company in 1998 as an outside sales representative. I have been given the opportunity during that time to work on expanding sales throughout eastern Massachusetts. In the past three years, I have developed and instituted several different divisions as well as been a stakeholder in the re-branding and shaping efforts the company has recently gone through.
Community involvement:
I currently serve in three unique roles as a volunteer. I am a commissioner on the Grafton Historic District Commission. I have been a volunteer swim coach with Greater Marlborough Programs (Special Olympics) for the past 16 years. I serve as a regional vice president for Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services. Each of these roles allows me to contribute my time and talents back to different organizations that have an impact on mine and my family’s lives and help me both professional as well as personally.
Biggest success:
My greatest success professionally has been to help transform Suburban from a local temporary staffing company to a human talent management organization that offers professional recruiting, human resources consulting and outsourcing services.
Dream job:
To sail boats to destinations around the world for people.
Businessperson he most admires and why:
Both my parents have to be tops in this category. Both of them have helped instill ethics and responsibility in me and each has had a huge impact on shaping me through their love and support and continue to teach me things that make me a little more successful each day.
