I am the managing Director of North Pointe Investment Partners. I co-founded North Pointe in October 2001 after spending my first 10 years in the investment business working for large national investment firms. North Pointe Investment Partners is a financial services firm that integrates financial planning and asset management services.
Community involvement:
I am involved in the Worcester community in several different capacities. I have a strong belief that the citizens of this community are ultimately responsible for enhancing the quality of life for not only themselves, but for the youth and underprivileged people of our area. My largest charitable endeavor to date has been acting as chairman for the “Huddle Up for Foley” campaign. “Huddle Up for Foley” is raising nearly $3 million for the renovation of Worcester’s Foley Stadium, now known as Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium. I have personally been involved in raising more than $2 million to date for this campaign. I also serve as a director to the Worcester Educational Development Foundation and a corporator for both the UMass Memorial Foundation and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation. I also coach youth baseball and basketball.
Biggest success:
My biggest success professionally has been my success in starting my own company after being an employee for the first 10 years of my career. Operating an independent investment firm has given me and my clients the ability to make decisions based solely on the objectives of the clients without the conflicts of interest often inherent with larger firms.
Dream job:
My ultimate dream job would be to someday own a professional sports franchise.
Businessperson he most admires and why:
The businessperson I admire most is David “Duddie” Massad. Duddie has proven that through a tireless work ethic and a passion for business, anything is possible. There are many successful business people in this community. However, I don’t know any who have been as steadfast for so many years in operating and growing his business interests.
