Family-owned Worcester butcher and grocer D'Errico's Market has closed its Cambridge Street location after almost two years, according to the company's Facebook page.
The market’s main location at 141 East Central St. in Worcester and another location at 1123 Central St. in Leominster will remain open.
The company renovated the property at 127 Cambridge St. during the early stages of the pandemic in 2020 and opened in November of that year.
In Leominster, the company’s third location, the company’s owner, Rodrigo DeOliveira purchased the shopping plaza in which the store is located in August 2020 for $2.35 million, opened the location in 2021, then sold the building for $3.35 million. The store remains open.
In July 2021, D’Errico’s announced it would open another location in Sturbridge, although the store hasn’t opened yet.
DeOliveira was unavailable for comment on Monday morning.
