Koopman Lumber Co., headquartered in Whitinsville, announced on Monday its acquisition of Fairhaven Lumber, LLC in Fairhaven.
With offices in Uxbridge, North Grafton, Sharon, Milford, Hudson, and Andover, Koopman is hoping the expansion will increase accessibility for residents of the state’s south coast, said the release. The Fairhaven location will be Koopman’s 10th location in Massachusetts.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
The team at Fairhaven Lumber, LLC will continue working with Koopman. Fairhaven has been in business for 70 years.
Lumber prices have tripled during the pandemic, according to the National Association of Homebuilders.
