Framingham brewery Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers is now expanding into its ninth market with distribution in New Jersey expected to begin next week.
The company will distribute its line of craft lagers along with sister brewery Springdale Beer via New York-based distributors Remarkable Liquids, which also distributes the beer in New York.
The company has now penetrated all of the nine states north of Maryland.
According to WBJ research, the brewery is the second largest in Central Massachusetts with more than 44,000 barrels brewed in 2017. Wachusett Brewing Co. in Westminster is the largest in the region with 70,000 barrels brewed.
“We’ve enjoyed working with Remarkable in New York, and when we found out they were starting to distribute in New Jersey, we decided to jump on board and expand to that market with them,” said Sam Hendler, co-owner of Jack’s Abby and Springdale, in a statement.
