International Award For Creganna Technology

The Marlborough product development team at Creganna Medical Devices has won an industry award to be presented in September in the company's home country, Ireland.
The company won an International Business Award for best product development team. The award recognizes success in the development and commercialization of new products. Creganna's Javelin metal alloy, Fusion Technology stainless steel welding and Meridian Technology software garnered the award.
From a 10,000-square-foot and growing facility in Marlborough, Creganna makes specialized components for "less invasive" medical devices, primarily specialized needles.
The company opened the Marlborough facility early last year and employs about 50 people there.
