The Holiday Inn Express Boston-Milford has been sold for $12.95 million to a Brockton-based corporation.
The hotel, located at 50 Fortune Blvd. in Milford, was sold by Fortune Boulevard Realty LLC of Westport, according to Worcester District Registry of Deed records. Fortune Boulevard Realty shares an address and managers with LaFrance Hospitality, a company that owns a number of hotels, restaurants, and other destinations in five states, with a high concentration of properties in the Westport area.
The hotel was purchased by Fortune Forever LLC, a Brockton corporation managed by Bijal Patel. The sale closed on Jan. 25.
The 119-room, four-floor hotel was built in 1999, according to Town of Milford property records. Amenities at the facilities include a fitness center, on-site laundry facilities, and an heated indoor swimming pool.
A WBJ email to the operators of the hotel regarding the hotel’s future was not immediately returned Monday.
The property last sold for $6.3 million in 2012. The Town of Milford gave it a tax assessment value of $3.31 million in fiscal 2024.
The Holiday Inn Express Boston-Milford joins a number of area hotels sold since 2023, including the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sturbridge, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston-Westborough, The Comfort Inn in Auburn, and The Quality Inn and Suites in Worcester, which will be converted to supportive housing.
