La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sturbridge has been sold for $3.38 million to a Sharon-based corporation.
A corporation owned by Tarun Patel, Baliyadev LLC, was the purchaser of the property, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds. The company lists 775 Providence Highway in Sharon as its registered address, the current location of an Econo Lodge motel.
The seller was Sturbridge LG, a corporation managed by Dharmesh Patel of Lutz, Florida, and Amish Patel of Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
Baliyadev originally bought the property for $1.2 million in 2015, according to the Town of Sturbridge property records. The building was constructed in 1987.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts did not immediately respond to a request for comment by WBJ requesting clarification over the future of the property.
