Headwall Photonics expands into Bolton

Headwall Photonics has expanded into two floors of this facility in Bolton.
Headwall Photonics, a Fitchburg manufacturer of spectral imaging products, has added a second location in Bolton.
The company now occupies two floors totaling 20,000 square feet at 580 Main St. in Bolton. The increased space will allow Headwall to expand its engineering, sales, and marketing capabilities as a response to increasing demand for its services, according to a press release. It will complement the Fitchburg facility, where Headwall makes its holographic diffraction gratings, the release said.
The company is looking to expand its engineering and sales team, CEO David Bannon said in a statement earlier this month.
"Enhancing our infrastructure capabilities with this new facility plan allows for operational expansion and the growth of our technology,” said Bannon.
