Citing growing patient volume, Southbridge-based Harrington HealthCare on Tuesday announced the hiring of seven new physicians and the relocation of several offices across its service area.
The General Surgery office will move this month to the Medical Arts Building on Harrington’s main campus on South Street in Soutbridge. Two board-certified surgeons, Dr. Thomas Canto and Dr. Thomas Johnson, will join Dr. Stephen Hilborn, Dr. Evan Provisor and Dr. Colette Whitby, expanding the practice.
The Pain Center, previously located in The Cancer Center at Harrington, will move to that location in November, and Dr. Deneene Doyker-Booth will join Dr. Kate Mason providing pain management and procedures.
In November, Harrington Physician Services will open its new Women’s Health Center at 61 North Main St. in Charlton, in addition to its full-service OB/GYN office in the Medical Arts Building in Southbridge. Two new physicians, Dr. Shilpa Monga and Dr. Lourdes Uy, will be based at the women’s center and are accepting new patients. The full-service center will be equipped with onsite blood draw and ultrasound and has been renovated to provide privacy and comfort.
“Moving the General Surgery office, the Pain Center, and opening the new Women’s Center, makes our services easily accessible and responsive throughout the area,” said Kristin Morales-Lemieux, executive director and chief operating officer of Harrington Physician Services
