Cambridge-based biotech giant Genzyme Corp. has leased 17,596 square feet of office space at 10 California Ave. in Framingham.
The company opened a $125 million, 180,000-square-foot science center off nearby New York Avenue in the Framingham Technology Park last September and has been acquiring real estate in the area ever since.
The building at 10 California Ave. is 62,000 square feet and is just off Exit 12 of the Massachusetts Turnpike. It is also home to a variety of other businesses.
The lease was brokered by R.W. Holmes Realty of Wayland and CB Richard Ellis of Boston.
