Craft, a global marketing agency, has named the new managing director for it’s Framingham office that is comprised of former Staples’ in-house staff.
Brian Distefano has been appointed managing director, Craft Boston, which was added to Craft's global network of core studios in July, according to Craft, which is a division of McCann Worldgroup. Craft Boston is comprised of approximately 100 employees who used to form Staples’ in-house production studio, according to AdvertisingAge.
In his new role, Distefano will be responsible for all functions of the Craft Boston office including creative and production services, according to Craft. Distefano began his career as a copywriter at Staples, Inc., rising to group creative director, where he was responsible for overall creative excellence leading the cross-functional, cross-business-unit creative team.
