Amendola Communications, an Arizona-based healthcare and healthcare IT public relations and marketing agency, has hired a long-time MetroWest professional to lead up the launch of its Boston arm.
"Boston is, without a doubt, one of the most important healthcare clusters in the country, so we need to be here," Jodi Amendola, CEO and founder of Amendola, said in a statement.
Leading the Boston operations will be Heather Caouette, who comes from 10 years with Westborough’s eClinicalWorks. While at eClinicalWorks, Caouette was responsible for the development and execution of the company's global public relations and marketing activities, which helped grow the company from 250 to 5,000 employees, according to a release from Amendola. In her new role, she will manage client accounts as well as creating marketing and public relations campaigns.
The senior writer for the Boston office will be Julie Donnelly, a former journalist who spent more than five years as the health care reporter for the Boston Business Journal, according to the release.
