FLASH POLL: Good days ahead for housing market
Two recent reports said sales of single-family homes in Massachusetts fell in September while the median selling price of a single-family home ($320,000, according to The Warren Group) showed little year-over-year movement. The Warren Group blamed low inventory and pent-up demand. Here, the story was slightly different with small increases in the median selling price. Last week's Flash Poll found more optimism than pessimism about the Central Massachusetts housing market over the coming months.
