Cutler To Renovate Kennedy Health Center
The Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center is continuing its push to improve its offices with a $6.4-million renovation of its Great Brook Valley Health Center complex on Tacoma Street in Worcester.
The project will reorganize and upgrade medical suites, patient services, offices and administration areas, according to Cutler Associates, the Worcester construction firm running the project.
The center will remain fully occupied while work is being done. The project is expected to take about five months.
Cutler also said its Melvin S. Cutler Charitable Foundation has given nearly $50,000 to several Central Massachusetts organizations.
The gifts include $15,000 to the Massachusetts Veterans Shelter, $10,000 to Abby's House and $10,000 to the United Way, among others.
