Clinton Savings Bank is constructing a new branch at the new development Edgemere Crossing in Shrewsbury.
The full-service location will be the bank’s seventh branch, all in Central Massachusetts , according to the bank’s press release on Tuesday. It joins an 80,000-square-foot Market Basket, 43,000 square feet of additional retail space, and 250 new units of housing when all construction of Edgemere Crossing is completed.
“We look forward to expanding our relationships with the residents and businesses of Shrewsbury and becoming an integral part of the neighborhood with a location here,” Robert Paulhus, president and CEO of Clinton Savings Bank, said in the press release.
RP Masiello of Boylston is the general contractor. and Gregory J. O’Connor Associates of Worcester is the architect for the project. The new branch office incorporates an open design and functionality Clinton Savings Bank intends to use in future buildouts.
Clinton Savings Bank was founded in 1851. The bank has more than $654 million in assets as of March 31, up from $584 million in March 2020, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
