Barnes & Noble to open in Natick after Framingham closure

Barnes & Noble’s newest MetroWest location will open in Natick on June 14, filling the void left when the chain’s Framingham store closed earlier this year.

The store is opening in the Sherwood Plaza shopping center on Route 9 in Natick, located at 1324 Worcester St., according to posts on the location’s Facebook page. It is in the site of a former Petco store.

The store management is the same as the previous location in Framingham, which closed in late January. Much of the staff has been carried over to the new store.

The bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the week and on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
