The Natick Mall is now home to two stores operated by online retail giants with Amazon opening its fifth 4-star store in the mall’s lower level.
The store, adjacent to Lord & Taylor, carries a curated selection of the company’s products that have been given a customer review of at least four stars and is a top seller or trending online.
The store, which opened Wednesday, is the fifth such store in the country. The first opened in Manhattan in September 2018, followed by locations in Berkeley, Calif., Lone tree, Colo. and Seattle, Wash.
Amazon’s newest physical location comes just weeks after online retailer Wayfair opened its first permanent store in the 1.8 million-square-foot shopping center.
The company is planning at least one additional store in the Dallas, Texas area.
