Acton-based Seachange International announced this morning that it has secured its first customer through a new partnership with Argela, a company based in Turkey.
The customer is Turk Telekom, one of Europe’s largest telecommunications companies. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Seachange and Argela will partner to offer telecommunications network operators services such as telephony, messaging and Internet access.
For the most recent quarter, Seachange reported a profit of $1.5 million, a stark improvement from the nearly $7.9 million loss the company reported for the same quarter a year earlier.
