Acton Co. President Joins Vaccine Maker Board
Howard L. Levine, president of BioProcess Technology Consultants Inc. in Acton, has joined the board of directors of Protein Sciences Corp., the developer of influenza vaccines, including one targeting swine flu.
Levine is an expert in biologics development and manufacturing. Before founding BioProcess Technology Consultants, he was vice president of manufacturing operations at Repligen Corp., and he has also worked for Genetech, Amgen and Xoma. He has a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Chicago and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University.
