Marie Paturzo is a certified financial planner professional, who has established herself as a valued resource to the clients she serves. She worked for Bank of America since the age of 18, and in 2015 became a financial advisor within Merrill Lynch, working for The Shiely Group in Worcester.
This year marks 20 years of her helping families and clients with her financial guidance and support in retirement, college planning, and other life events. Paturzo has introduced more than 40 client families to The Shiely Group. She has a passion for building a financial plan for her clients and using plan as a benchmark for success. Paturzo is in her fourth year as a member of the speaker committee at the MetroWest Conference for Women, the social media and website management chair at the Hopkinton Women's Club, and a member of the steering committee at the Power of Women organization within the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce. The impact Paturzo has on her community has been made through donating her time to Worcester County Food Bank, American Red Cross blood drives and the Worcester County Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
What four people would you like to travel with for a year? Mark Cuban, Abraham Lincoln, Mikaela Shiffrin (I’d love to ski with her!) and Amelia Earhart
How do you like the pandemic-induced, work-from-home life? While I cherish spending extra time with my husband and baby, I miss interacting with clients and colleagues. At the office, we put our heads and hearts together for clients.
What is your immediate next goal in life? To continue my family focus: my own and those of my clients. As a loving wife and mother, I extend myself naturally to clients’ parents and children.
