Gov. Charlie Baker has established a Reopening Advisory Board, co-chaired by Lt. Governor Karyn Polito and Housing and Economic Development Secretary Mike Kennealy. The group is fielding input from industry groups and other key stakeholders about how best to reopen the state's economy. But during daily press briefings, Baker has largely declined to share specific information about how he envisions Massachusetts getting back to work.

He's making decisions based on the data in front of him and that data is still presenting a very dangerous situation.

It's hard as a business owner listening to press conferences without solid news on how we are going to open up all businesses. It is unfair to drive by busy liquor stores, hardware stores with people buying mulch and tomato plants, packed ice cream stands all deemed essential by the state and allowed to stay open while my business, a health club, can't social distance enough in a 30 square foot building. But I still just paid my city real estate tax and every other bill that we received over the past two months while being forced to stay closed. It is time to cautiously open up everything and do it as safe as possible.
