Robert A. Yood is the new chairman of the board of trustees at Fallon Clinic in Worcester.
Yood is the chief of rheumatology and the physician director of the department of research at the clinic. He is also a professor of clinical medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and chief of the division of rheumatic diseases and musculoskeletal medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital.
Yood serves on several professional organizations’ boards, including chairing the committee on ethics and conflicts of interest for the American College of Rheumatology and sitting on the public policy committee of the American Group Practice Association. He is also a member of the legislative committee of the Worcester District Medical Society.
Yood has a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University. He lives in Worcester.
