All four candidates will be invited to campus for final interviews by the university’s board of trustees. The board plans to complete on-campus interviews by April 1 and make a final selection soon after that. It is expected the newly minted president will officially come on board July 1.

The new president will take over for Janelle Ashley, who announced her plans to retire in August 2010. Her last day is June 30.

Ashley was the first woman president of the school when she took the title in 2002.
