Masis Staffing Solutions, a talent management procurement firm headquartered in Worcester, has acquired the New Jersey and Tennessee light industrial operations from DAVIS Cos. of Marlborough.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Masis Staffing is using the new offices as part of a strategic expansion in those key geographies, according to Masis’ announcement on Thursday.
“The Masis team has enjoyed working with DAVIS Cos. on this transaction, and looks forward to building upon DAVIS’s long track record of outstanding service for clients and candidates in Vineland, N.J. and Memphis, Tenn.,” said Masis President Matthew Vaccaro, in a written announcement.
DAVIS, which specializes in providing staffing for advanced manufacturing, engineering, and technology firms, sold the two divisions so it could focus more on its core industries, said DAVIS President Brendon Davis, in a statement part of Masis' press release.
"For DAVIS, dedicating resources to continued growth in our advanced manufacturing, engineering, technology and IT verticals, as well as our managed services and enterprise teams is a key objective for 2022 and beyond," Davis wrote.
