A property located on Main Street in Worcester has been sold for $1.25 million to a corporation that has converted two other properties into car washes.
The property, located at 1103 Main St., was sold Thursday to Canton-based New York Capital Investment Group, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds records. The property was sold by Askan Realty Trust of Auburn, which purchased the parcel in 2007 for $720,000, according to City of Worcester property records.
The 0.67-acre property is the site of Dynasty Auto Group and contains office space and two retail storefronts, according to a listing posted by Foster-Healey Real Estate of Leominster. The site is zoned for multiple potential uses, including residential.
The City of Worcester gave the property a tax assessment value of $757,700 in fiscal 2024, according to city records.
This purchase comes after New York Capital Investment’s July purchase of a Milford shopping plaza, which the company intends to turn into a Prestige Car Wash. The company purchased 420 Hartford Turnpike in Shrewsbury in March 2022; this site was formerly a Clean Green Car Wash but was converted into a Prestige Car Wash following the purchase.
Prestige has more than 30 car wash locations throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts, according to the company’s website.
