WBJ webinar to discuss pivoting during pandemic

A group of panelists will join Worcester Business Journal on Wednesday for the next in the "Coping with COVID-19" webinar series, this time for a discussion about pivoting business operations during a pandemic on Wednesday.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Online registration is required and free.

In the last six months, many businesses have been forced to alter how they operate, from providing new services, producing new materials, or overhauling how they meet their employee and customer needs. Wednesday’s webcast will feature an array of panelists who will share their strategies and best practices for surviving an unpredictable marketplace.

Panelists include James Donahue, president and CEO of Old Sturbridge Village; Lynn Cheney, owner and CEO of the Worcester grocery store maker to main; Anthony D’Elia, executive producer of Worcester events company Revelation Productions; and Bruce Platzman, president and CEO of Leominster furniture manufacturer AIS.

They will cover topics like reimagining business models, developing new revenue opportunities, and best strategies for accelerating digital growth.
