Some topics just have a life of their own. According to a survey by Thumbtack.com and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Worcester ranks as one of the worst cities in the U.S. for small business friendliness, receiving an overall “F” grade. Is it deserved? Here's more of what several respondents had to say on our LinkedIn page:
“As a city councilor, I have filed many orders to address many of the issues discussed here: permitting online, payment online, a business guide, a business liaison, etc. We have the infrastructure and the intellectual capital. We have a problem with self-image.”
LinkedIn group member Kate Toomey
“Tim Murray will get this addressed and you'll see immediate improvements.”
LinkedIn group member Chris Provo
“Like they say in real estate: location, location, location. Worcester has great location and is a good place to work, live and play.”
LinkedIn group member Len Diana (responding to Toomey)
