Worcester real estate firm GoVenture Capital Group, LLC, and Boston-based engineers BSC Group will move into One Mercantile, the former Unum Building in Worcester.
The companies will occupy almost 12,000 square feet combined on the sixth floor of the building, according to a Monday press release from Wellesley real estate firm Franklin Realty Advisors LLC, which is the commercial property leasing and management company at One Mercantile.
Worester’s Kelleher and Sadowsky Associates is the leasing agent for the property.
FRA also announced that five existing tenants, insurer Sullivan Group Inc., accounting firm O’Connor, Maloney & Co., real estate firm NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, attorneys Peters & Sowyrda and North Pointe Wealth Management signed eight-year leases to remain at the location.
GoVenture is moving from its offices from East Worcester Street in Worcester and BSC is moving from its office on Waldo Street in Worcester.
GoVenture is the developer behind The Kiln, a 111-unit residential development in Worcester’s Greendale neighborhood, as well as a 364-unit residential development at 274 Franklin St. in Worcester.
BSC Group has worked on planning, permitting, and development projects throughout Massachusetts. It is currently working with the Worcester Housing Authority on phase 1 of its $178 million redevelopment of the Curtis Apartments in Great Brook Valley.
