Massachusetts environmental engineer Tighe & Bond, which has an office in Worcester, won a five-year federal procurement contractor certification to deliver its services to federal agencies.
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) recently preapproved and awarded Westfield-based Tighe & Bond what’s known as a “GSA Schedule Contract,’’ certification that streamlines and speeds Uncle Sam’s typically lengthy procurement process, authorities said.
Tighe & Bond service menu includes environmental consulting services such as site assessments and investigations, environmental impact statements, endangered species studies, wetlands and watershed studies, natural resource management plans, compliance support, and pollution prevention surveys.
GSA also authorized Tighe & Bond to provide environmental training services for a range of hazardous waste management topics. Other preapproved services include a range of construction management and ancillary tasks.
Tighe & Bond marketing vice president Mary Beth Morris said the firm provides services to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, nearby Westover Air Reserve Base, and the New Hampshire Army National Guard.
In addition to offices in Pocasset and Worcester, the firm’s other offices are in Middletown and Shelton, Conn., and Portsmouth, N.H.
