Marlborough human services nonprofit Thrive Support & Advocacy has named Stacey Forrest as the organization’s first chief operating officer, the nonprofit announced late in May.

Prior to joining Thrive, Forrest spent more than 15 years with Needham human services agency JRI. Most recently, she served as executive director for JRI’s Connecticut division.

“Stacey is a highly regarded, rising leader in the trauma, education and behavioral health space in New England, and we are excited to welcome her into this important new role at Thrive,” said Sean Rose, president and CEO of Thrive Support & Advocacy, in a statement.

Forrest holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stonehill College in Easton and a master’s degree from the American International College in Springfield.
