ThermoEnergy Founder Retires

Dennis C. Cossey, chairman and co-founder of Worcester wastewater treatment and power generation company ThermoEnergy Corp., is retiring.

Cossey founded the company in Arkansas in 1988 with Buddy Montesi. In 2007 it acquired Worcester wastewater company CASTion Corp.

Cossey served as CEO of the company until January 2010, when Cary Bullock took over that position.

In a press release, Cossey said he will remain available to offer advice to the company after his retirement.
